Above are two interesting monolithic facades by Aires Mateus. Above is the Student Residence at the Universidade de Coimbra and below is the Rector's Office of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The oblique angles below reveal the siting of the solid masses on the relatively flat sites.
Isto de ser arquitecto é muito bonito..A questão é que estes dois meninos arquitectos fazem milhares de euros por ano e depois pagam 250 a estagiarios sem direito a fds..n me lixam..assim se faz a bela arquitectura em portugal!!! O estatuto o estatuto!!! Sobe á cabeça e dps n desce...vergonhoso!!!!!!!
