We were super excited when Susan asked us to participate in the It Takes Two show at Artstream, which just opened over the weekend. The idea behind the show was to present couples making art - exploring the process of making art together in jointly created pieces or side by side works. Sean and I started our collaboration together years ago, with our visible:invisible series of prints, so it seemed appropriate to return to that process and to create some new works in the same vein. The above, 20:07:14 - 20:18:31, is one of our two illustrations for the show, featuring two whales navigating the forest of columns at St. John the Divine.
Some of our favorites from the show: Below, Shannon Rankin and Justin Richel (as far as I know, they haven't worked together before and I am really loving the outcome of their collaboration - it's a great mixing of their two styles together), and at the bottom, Julia Rothman and Mathew Longacre.

collaborations are always fascinating and wonderful! enjoying the illustrations.. whales plus architecture = love!
