Cave Entrance by Masimilano Fuksas

This one is a bit of an older project, completed way way back in 1993. The Cave Painting Museum in Niaux, France by Masimilano Fuksas is one of my favorite projects of all time. The project is no more than the entrance to a museum. It can be seen emerging from the cave from the valley below. And it is sympathetic enough to its context in form and material to both conceal and reveal itself. It is a simple project, but many of the best projects usually are.
