Ingo Maurer

I love the Birds Birds Birds chandelier from Ingo Maurer, it's beyond cute! The interactive component to the fixture is cool - you bend the wires to shape your own chandelier. The feathers used are from real geese, and at $5,030 per fixture, it's ridiculously expensive.

For another innovative light fixture from Ingo Maurer, check out Inhabitat's post about his display at Milan 2007.

  1. The "orb" necklace is a wonderful piece of green tourmaline. Come visit the piece in person if you like: at Gallery of Jewels, SF. Union Street @ Webster.
