Benjamin Hubert debuted some beautiful projects this year. One of my favorites is the Pod, a collaboration with Devorm. The seat is made from pressed recycled PET felt, which besides looking lovely, allows for a sense of privacy due to the height of the chair back and the acoustical properties of the felt.
The moulded shell is supported by a steam bent frame in oak and finished with industrial fixing details and large reassuring cushions, resulting in a very large but light and sustainable 'room within a room' concept.
