4 Plius Architects - Pašilaičiai Parish Church

This is a beautiful project by 4 Plius Architects. The Pašilaičiai Parish Church is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. I like the exaggerated scale and the quiet facade. I can't tell if these are actual photographs or if they are renderings...any thoughts?

  1. The overall concept and projection of light, and space is striking.
What if the sun is NOT out? What kind of light illumines the space?
It seems like it could get dark in there.
The tunnel-like nave certainly does remove worshipers in the last half of the church from the activity in the sanctuary.
