Follow Friday - Yellena James

I've known about Yellena James' work for a while now, but I just came across her on Twitter, so thought I would share her beautiful illustrations as part of our new feature profiling our Twitter followers.

Yellena's work is focused on organic illustrations and brilliant colors. It's also super affordable (lots of $20 prints), so grab yours here!

Follow Friday is a weekly post featuring the great designs/artwork of some of our Twitter followers.

  5. Ohmygoodness I love Yellena's work! All that intricate linework, and all that bright color... i aspire to have that kind of patience when creating pattern in my own work. Beautiful beautiful.

It was nice to meet you at NSS all those weeks ago! I ran across your booth and introduced myself as a loyal follower of sub-studio. I enjoyed talking with you and seeing your work. So nice to put a face to the blog!

We've been getting some spam comments in the past few months, and so have turned on comment moderation, but if you are a real, live person not touting drugs, we'll get your comment up, asap! Also, comments left under user names that are obvious spam keywords (some recent ones: dining room tables, organic baby cribs) will be deleted. Thanks!
