Here's a great mini interview with Johnny Kelly at Don't Panic. Again, I love that it shows the process sketch for the work. And I appreciate Kelly's use of the handmade to build the art for the poster.
I love seeing models and I love building them too. It is unfortunate that model-building craft and skill is quickly being eclipsed by laser cutters and 3d printers. There is a widening gap between the hand of the artist or architect and models produced by robots. Do you think that robots can ever close that gap between the rigid and the organic?
