Alex Lukas

The Flooded City pieces by Alex Lukas are so captivating because they are both destructive and tranquil at the same time. Found via an interview at Fecal Face. For more about the fictional destruction the city (aka NYC), check out Max Page's The City's End: Two Centuries of Fantasies, Fears, and Premonitions of New York's Destruction.

  1. Wow, these are absolutely amazing - best thing I've seen in a while, thanks! If anyone could point me in the direction of some prints I'd be eternally grateful, though I fear those are unavailable. I believe one/some (?) of these were printed in Proximity Magazine #3 though - anywhere I could get my hands on that (stuck in Europe, alas, so it'd have to be online)? Thanks heaps for any tips, comments, and so on. Once more, LOVELY stuff!

Also, comments left under user names that are obvious spam keywords (some recent ones: dining room tables, organic baby cribs) will be deleted. Thanks!
