The Hemipode, Horizon and Solaris (L to R) represent the apex of watch making mumbo-jumbo. Though very nicely designed by Marc Newson, the price of the pieces is extraordinary. The Hemipode clocks in at an astounding $44,000 each. For that amount, one could hire an intern to walk around and tell you what time it is, and they can probably do a whole lot of other stuff too.
