Ikepod by Marc Newson

So let's say you have a ton of money laying around and you also constantly wonder what time it is. The Ikepod watches might be for you. The Hemipode, Horizon and Solaris (L to R) represent the apex of watch making mumbo-jumbo. Though very nicely designed by Marc Newson, the price of the pieces is extraordinary. The Hemipode clocks in at an astounding $44,000 each. For that amount, one could hire an intern to walk around and tell you what time it is, and they can probably do a whole lot of other stuff too.
