Pentagon Memorial

The Pentagon Memorial was recently inaugurated, on 9/11 of this year. Designed by KBAS Studio, the memorial is sited near to the point of impact of American Airlines Flight 77 and the benches are oriented parallel to the trajectory of the flight. There are 184 memorial benches that honor each individual that died when the plane crashed. The benches are organized in a time line based on the victims' birth years, from 1930 to 1998. I haven't seen the memorial in person yet, but it looks like a beautiful place to remember those who died.

  2. A meaningful memorial to innocent citizens of the greatest nation on Earth. It should never have happened.
