Michelle Brand
I love it when people rethink the way an object is used, especially when that use gives the object a second life. Michelle Brand has created a 'fabric' made of the bases of plastic bottles. Each bottle is cut, sanded, and assembled into the tapestry. Beautiful!

I saw her stuff a couple of weeks ago, and I love it!! Such a cool idea, especially the spray-painted light installation. Although I'm currently trying to not use any plastic bottles, for eco reasons, so it may be some time before I collect enough to make one of these cool curtains...
