Palo Samko is a Brooklyn based woodworker. Besides being an amazing craftsman, what I love most about his work is the attention he puts into detail. I love how he exposes and juxtaposes the grain of the wood, and how he injects little surprises into his work - a hidden pencil holder in a desk, the bird Foosball players (for lack of a better description). Very nice.
