I love these sculptures (?) by Andrew Sutherland. Andrew is a mixed-media artist in Brooklyn. I love how he works with cardboard, a very non-traditional art material that has recently been getting some use (though not always nicely). Andrew's image materializes through a process of subtraction that reveals the grain of the cardboard below.
you guys should get in on the brklyn art scene - if not already! there's some cool design and craft shit going on there - do it! do it! do it!
