Caboche Lamp by Patricia Urquiola and Foscarini

The Caboche, designed by Patricia Urquiola and produced by Foscarini, showcases a great composition of heavy and light. The large acrylic nodules defy their weight with singular connection points. And the whole fixture hangs by the thinnest of wires. The lenticular effect of the nodules amplify and refract the singular light source into a mass of shapes and angles, creating the appearance of a thousand points of light.

  2. I selected this fixture (med size) for my dining room and it is stunning. I was worried about the "plastic" balls, but they are high quality plastic and look pretty much like glass. My contractor hung it a bit too high and there's no way to correct the problem unless I want to spend an extra $200 new cables. Anyway, it's well worth the investment.
